"trash"? Your politics are getting in the way of any taste you may possess. Obviously a work of art cannot be as nuanced as an essay, but it can be immediate and provocative. Banksy is shocking, provocative, brilliant, elegant.

What have my politics got to do with the fact that I find Banksy's work trash? It's poorly thought out sentimental dreck stencilled over a wall. Rembrandt this is not. Not even Basquiat.
