Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner declared ICE agents breaking state laws—like kidnapping or unlawful restraint—can be arrested and prosecuted in state court, with no federal pardon protections.

Good. Do it. And states should shut down ICE facilities violating codes. The federal government is not above the law.

New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland and other targeted states have similar criminal statutes on their books. The governors of all of them should put ICE agents, Kristi Noem, and Tom Homan on notice that they could face up to 5 years in prison, up to 30 in Maryland, if they're convicted of violating them.

All the DA's need to say what he said and let everyone know. Defund I.C.E., arrest, and remove all of them.

This is a good development, but why has it taken so long? I've been wondering why (not-morally-corrupt) local jurisdictions haven't been enforcing state level kidnapping laws the whole time
