Because Americans have a warped view of what socialism actually is and often associate it with authoritarianism. The U.S. already has many socialist-style policies, just fewer than other countries. Bernie’s ideas are not radical.

Berine's ideals are radical when he flat out promoted straight up socialism when he ran for president. But has it accord to you idiotic socialists idealists that gee people don't want socialism as it gee doesn't work no matter what.
