It is in the #CFL rulebook. If a QB or punter fakes a slide (or knee) it is a deadball at the spot of the fake slide and a 10 yard OC penalty. I'm still waiting to see this called.

Forgot about that one. 2023 week 1 Adeleke assumed the 'punter' position in EZ - ran around to kill time on clock before conceding a safety touch. Andre Proulx threw the flag for a fake knee. Clock was reset.

I actually learned this last night but a fake QB slide can fall under an objectionable conduct penalty.
