Nadia thank you so much for protecting the disabled. Do these ‘concessions’ mean when current PIP recipients have their review they are treated as new claimants? I just don’t trust the DWP to use that as an excuse to catch them out that way.

Well done Nadia, keep pushing, this is not the Labour Party I voted for.

Thank you Nadia, you've articulated what I was thinking
Thanks for talking sense on this, Nadia!
Well said - any 'rebel' who fell for this flannel either didn't read the 'concessions' or didn't take the time to understand their full consequences as Nadia clearly has.
Labour counts people who have their PIP claim reviewed as ‘new claimants’. This ‘concession’ is a lie. Everyone on PIP has their claim reviewed.
Thank you. None of this makes sense. There are still half a million of us on indefinite DLA awards, yet to be forced onto PIP. Would you be able to find out what happens to us? x.com/Sharonimo55/...
You will be fkd.
Maybe there’s money to spend on people from cutting the red lines around the European position. Just saying, there’s going to be some money needed to do good things for people.
Thank you
May I also point out that many disabled adults, if unable to get a work capability assessment in time before starting an educational course are not able to claim Universal Credit at all. As a result, PIP ends up being their entire income. Punished for learning. @leigh-day.bsky.social
None of this has been thought through has it. Fail to prepare and all that. Shambles and height of incompetence.
