The government says that disabled people will “co-produce” the PIP review, but deciding to make cuts and then asking disabled people which cuts they would prefer is at best a rubber stamping exercise. No disabled people’s organisations support this Bill. We must vote against it.

What you need to do is increase PIP so that it covers the extra cost of being sick or disabled. If there is fraud, find the fraudsters. Collective punishment of PIP claimants because you are too scared to go after the wealth hoarders is not what the Labour Party is for.

Based on the rounding of the new assessment figures (nearest 50k) the assertion that the amount of children pushed into poverty by the amended bill will be "negligible" could still mean almost 25k children are affected During the debate someone should ask for the actual, not rounded down, estimates

Bad managers always co-opt language like "co-produce" without actually doing the thing. They should open a call centre, it's about the level of capability and integrity they're at.

Will the regret of MPs who vote for the bill, bring back the most vulnerable who will die because of it? #welfarebill #pip #takingthepip #labour #lizkendall #starmer
