I assume you mean we don’t want to condemn a whole swath of people because their ancestors were settlers or colonialists. My ancestors were Irish, German, Austrian, English and French. I live on land that once belonged to the Áakʼw Ḵwáan on Lingít Aaní (Edited 10:33 AM via @skeetsapp.com)

Unfortunately, currently there is a large swath of Americans, including the present administration in Washington, that not only doesn't want to learn from the past, they want to selectively erase it.
