Rare has released many beloved IPs worldwide, and it's unfortunate that not all of them are active today. It’s also hard to believe that Rare Replay is already 10 years old!

But no one of those franchises are handled by Rare. Nowadays they just work on Sea of Thieves and nothing more. Those franchises need to go back to where it belongs, Nintendo.
The thing that you don't realize is even if Rare went back to Nintendo (unlikely), Microsoft now owns all of Rare's old IPs, so they can do with them whatever they like. They're the ones in charge, not Rare, so Microsoft is the one who can delegate those IPs to whatever developer they want.
