What did Pritzker do here legislatively? Politics has a performative component and our leaders in Congress are abdicating that role. In a world driven more and more by clicks and content, much as I despise it, that’s also part of their job now.

I can't keep up with the complaints. First Jefferies is "too performative" because all he does is "make speeches" but now he's not performative enough? What exactly do you expect the minority party to do?

You’re making arguments for me that I never made. I like when they’re out front and center, and that’s what I want them to do. I said as much. You can take up your argument with the imaginary me you’ve made up somewhere else.
