I'm your girl. Well old woman. OG GenX, when the pandemic hit and they said stay home I was excited coz I had been training for that moment my whole life. Lifelong hermit. I could easily do 8 months or more as long as I can use the patio in my fenced in back yard. I do need sunlight.

I can stay in forever. My husband & I (mainly myself) have made quite a comfortable home. Nothing lavish but peaceful colors, choice decor items for stimuli right from Home Goods, scented candles used with lights, & pumped in music to our liking. However, we have 3 kids so, no, I can’t do it.

Like others, I need the yard or ability to walk my dogs (without speaking to others is ideal), but I could go a long time. Def 5-6 months, esp in summer/fall.

When I had an actual house, staying in during the winter months was easy. Now that everything I worked for and loved has been stolen from me, I'm a changed person. I stalk my stalkers, LOL

I once stayed holed up in my house for four months at least, freaking loved it, but I have chickens now to force myself to at least go outside once a day

I could likely go for a year or more. Covid broke me and now I'm almost an agoraphobe. My therapy sessions now are all about finding the will to leave the house or worse, be social. Even when I manage to go out, all I'm thinking about is when I can go back home.
