Had a samoyed who did the same thing. It's their version of Palm Beach. But at a certain point I dragged him in for my own sanity

She is in her element! Beautiful
Too hot inside just right outside
She looks like she’s having a great time. 😁💙

I don't think you are in Florida any more.
Silly huskies
You are in her world now, she's in charge
Awww…look at that sweet face.
💙
My parents Bermese does the same thing. It takes a long time for them to get cold, and the snow is comfy
The snow was so deep after our 4 day event the dogs could barely do their "business"
A blizzard is a perfectly gorgeous day for Husky-dom.
This is why I feel soooooo awful when I see people here in downtown Montreal in the summer with Huskies. Their owner wants to be out as much as possible but they’re hating it and in winter they want to be out but the owner doesn’t.
She’s been watching too much Game Of Thrones and LARPing it.
She’s loving it
😹
😀
Soo Sweet!
She's communing with her people. 🐕 ❄️
She’s loving every single second of it too!
My Fritz would have loved this snow storm. And once he came in he demanded to be toweled off or he would pout.
Omg I envy her so much enjoying the cold. I need her fur!!!
Lol, she’s in her element.😁
My mom’s Rough Collie was the same way. Snow days were the best days… for her! Getting her in out of the snow was a chore!
She's wondering why the silly humans are holed up inside instead of enjoying the amazing weather with her 😂
This is the best chat ever! So many cute dogs!
Beautiful dog.
She’s really determined to stay out there! Her face says it all.
I had a Samoyed who behaved that way too. She would become so covered with snow that all you could see of her were her sparkling eyes.
She's built for it. 🥰
Aww! She's built for the snow.💜
living her best snowfall winter wonderland life we should all be so lucky
Looks like she’s in paradise
Our boy (great pyrennes) has a broken toe and is supposed to limit activity. Fast forward to the snow - jumping, rolling, eating, digging. While we chased him saying, "STOP STOP STOP." It was quite the game -- for him.
I've had 2 husky breeds, they were both the same way. Sure they liked to be out at other times, but when it snowed they'd just stand outside, nose to the wind, sniffing and looking for hours. I'd have to go out and haul them in.
She's definitely in her element. 💙
Just like a Husky. 🙂
I hope your neighbors didn’t report you for leaving your dog in the cold😀
My old Aussie was like that. She’d get so mad when we’d make her come inside at night wen it was below 10F
She’s in her element
She is playing "HUSKY ! " gee ! haw ! turningheadskennel.com/dog-sledding...
"Worry not; I am home now."
I had to almost push my Husky into the house. It's 10 degrees in NE Texas right now.
She's thinking Home at last.
She’s in her element 🥰
powdered donut
Had to decide between the dog that wanted to run around din 20 F snow this morning or the cat that wanted to cuddle in my lap while I drank tea. Love our dog, but the cat won.
I remember the first time Loki saw snow. He was part German Sheppard, Malamute and Husky. He couldn't believe it. Snow! I love it, Dad. He plowed through a field in complete joy. He didn't want to come in.
Maybe she's been hot in her winter coat: "like why do i grow this if not to survive a little snowflakes; delicate I am not."
I love this for her🥰
Mabel loves the snow, too, and spends most of her days on the back deck ❤️
Looks like she’s trying to entice you to come outside and PLAY!
Winter is Coming, said in a heavy English accent.
That's the look of "I hear you, but I'm not listening". Mine does the same thing.
Probably too hot for her inside with her winter coat.
My malamute is so contrary. She doesn't like being outside in the snow but will happily sunbathe for hours .
They adore these conditions
Our Keeshond used to do just that.
my heavy coated love preferred a layer of snow to a warm bed
Hahaha I love it
“Why are you INSIDE right now? It’s perfect out here!” - your dog probably
Did she ever come inside?
She manifesting her ancestral roots ❄️🩵
I use to be that way when hot flashes were running rampant. You could always find me in the walk in cooler when I went missing.
Can relate 😂
Elemental.
Yeah, my Lab/Spaniel mix loves her some snow. She can play out in it for hours, but we don't have a fence so she's relegated to the couch for most of the day.
What a handsome boy
🥰❤️😍
We don't get snow here, but my dog sure loves the rain! I suspect my neighbors think I'm not letting him inside when he actually refuses to come in on those days! 🙂
Oh fuck, my wife had a husky for 12 years, so she can relate to the pain. He was an absolute moron but he loved snow!! 🤣
Huskies just love it so much.
She's in her natural habitat.
Our three huskies are wuzzies. They go out for a while. If it's too windy or too cold they want to come back in. We brought a king size bed and the five of us "packed" in. Lol
She Husky? My girl is German Shepherd-Husky and she loses her shit in the snow
Disappear into the snow?! But only temporary, right? She's a beauty. 🥰
They do like a good snowstorm
Huskies have so much deep thick fur they are hot all the time. They love being outdoors to stay cool. ♥️
Ah they LOVE the snow. . .
Bless that snow bunny! She is in heaven. 🫶🏼
She is loving that snow. There are dogs who love it and tolerate the cold better than others. My neighbors dogs love it. I saw them playing in it this morning. My little dog likes it for about 5 minutes. Your dog is beautiful!
If you want to se you dogs race in action, check this out. Go to "49.50" for the first action with dogs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWUY...
She loves you, but "this" is where she feels fully alive.
Her world, I guess 💙
She says “I was built for this!”
Where are you?
She doesn’t care if you are cold😂. This is her day!
Rodger, my chow shepherd mix, does this too. I've had to chase him around the yard to get him back inside.
That's her natural habitat!
She KNOWS how to build a snow cave!
My pup has the undercoat and, except for her paws, still digs snow. She’s been eating it every time we go out.
They make excellent doggie booties nowadays that protect their pads & paws from snow/ice/rain. I bet an elderly pup in particular would really appreciate a well-fitted set. Ruffwear’s makes some really great ones!
She has that cheeky smile. 😂
my mare came into the barn at feed time with two or three inches of snow on her back....she loves it
They are built for this weather! 🥳
aw, she looks like she is having such a great time
My dog does the same thing…only he’s a Pomeranian! 😜
Just getting comfortable Mom.
My border collie is the same way. We had shared a house with a couple of huskies in Colorado one year and they were all out in the snow. All day, had to wrangle them back inside at night.
So beautiful
Hi Rebekah. Thank you for telling the truth about covid to us Floridians. I stand with you on all you have done.
I had a large mix breed with long hair that used to fall asleep in the snow. I had dachshunds too, and the 2 females would climb on his back to stay warm. The mix was border collie, shepherd, dalmatian and springer spaniel, looked mostly like a springer with dalmatian legs.
Yeah, dogs like that love the cold.
Make her come inside before you go to bed. Don’t ask me how I know 😢
💙
🥰
Those kind of Dogs like that, Breeding thing, right?🖖
She's happy as a mosquito in a blood bank 😆
True to her nature.
She’s a pretty 🥰
Almost nice enough to play!
My Samoyed laid outside in the snow all day and it was 7 degrees below zero! He refused to come inside, I thought, well the doggie door is right there, he can come in when he wants! He finally did after about 6 hours!
Aww, she’s in her element. Literally!
They love this weather. Keep water bowl from freezing and extra food out
Built tough. Husky tough. ❤️
😍
Huskies are amazing
I had a husky when I was a kid and he loved being in the snow.
My German shepherd only friends were Huskies ❄️🩵
Smiling here. She's built to disappear into the snow, isn't she, and come out again. This must be her idea of "Finally! My kind of day."
Had a Black Lab. His comfort zone... "splooting" on hard-packed snow or swimming in the ocean in January (New England). Could spend hours outdoors in winter (if allowed).
Her inner wolf is living her best life. 😄
I'm familiar with this. Was wondering where my dog was, and called for him. He woke up from under the snow on the deck, shook off the snow, and smiled.
She’s in heaven. Nature designed her for just such days.
Who are you talking about? All I see is snow!
labs would freeze to death why with them they love the cold?
I have a Pyrenees. Last couple days we’ve had ice and snow. I have to beg her to come in. She lays outside in the middle of my land. I’m going to photograph her today
Love it
She's in her element and enjoying the heck out of it! ❄️🥰 ♥️🐾
Oh to be a husky in the snow slowly being buried in the softness…
She is in her happy place.
Poor baby, hope she changes her mind :)
Our Norwegian Elkhound does that. she just wants to live out there

I have on too…..they love napping in the snow!
My son’s husky cried to go back out in the snow when he was brought inside to warm up.
We haven’t had any snow yet this year, but my husky agrees that it’s the best of all possible worlds when we do.
Sounds like the malamute we had!
The same people that try to call about people leaving their snow dogs outside in the snow for too long should be the ones tasked with getting them inside.
I had an Old English Sheepdog mix who would disappear on snowy days. In the evening we'd call for him, and watch the yard for the exploding snowdrift when he stood up and shook himself off. Toasty winter indoor temps were torture for poor Lowell.
Meanwhile my cat hasn’t moved from the heating pad since breakfast.
You own a cat I love cats
Correction, he does not own a cat. He is owned by a cat. This is an important point!
Correct. Dogs have owners, cats have staff 😂
It is said that the Egyptians’ worshiped cats as gods… cats have never forgotten that!🤣🤣🤣
My boy Bjorn NEVER wanted to be inside and was at his most joyful when it was below zero with feet of snow on the ground. He was Malamute/Wolf hybrid. Probably the most gentle soul I've encountered. Absolutely no meanness (unless you were a skunk) in his being.
She's having a snow spa.
Cute dog.
she's in her habitat
Why have you disturbed there very important meeting?
Good idea to bring the food to them!
Very cool. 😊
She looks likes she’s in her element.
She’s in her element lol
She’s sun bathing. 🤫 Leave her alone.
#HuskyLife
Also known as "a happy husky"! Ours was a persnickety ol' gal. She *loved* playing in the snow, like most of them. What she hated? Snow getting on her. End result, a husky who treated snowstorms like a cat, demanding to go out only to demand to be let back in five minutes later.
One happy husky you got there!
Our girls used to love being out in the snow, too.
She looks super happy!
Oh, how I used to have to bribe this guy to come in when we lived in upstate NY. 😂🐺💖
That must be some coat--where can I get one?😂
Ppl used to call animal control on my friend because her huskies were out during snow storms.
That is a look of zero f$&@‘s given
My Malamute was the same way.
She found her happy place!
She’s a good girl!
Huskies gotta... um... "husk?" 🤔
She was born for this! I don’t blame her one bit! Beautiful dog in her element!
They love that weather!
I take it that you no longer live in Floriduh! 😂
Oh, when she wants to come in, she’ll just dig a tunnel to your door…and drag in enough snow to bury her again.
that's husky weather....they just love it
She’s wondering why you’re refusing to come outside and sit with her, as she lives her best life.
Doesn’t want back in the hell hole of warmth eh
If she’s like mine she’s just trying to accumulate as much snow as possible on her coat so she can shake it off in your house for maximum effect
Our Miami-born, central Florida husky loves the sun and heat in much the same way.
She doesn't even feel it! ❤️
Honestly, makes the whole move from FL worthwhile 😍
...says every husky ❤️ owner everywhere!! 💯😆
Boop
I had a Samoyed who would sleep on top of his dog house. After one storm I couldn’t find him. Then he stood up. 10” of snow on top of him. He loved it.
How the hell can they do it. I know it’s true but just too hard for me to accept
The snow actually insulates them and protects them from wind. Like a tiny igloo.
That’s good enough info & thanks for answering my question
