You can like Gavin Newsome getting under Trump's skin without supporting him for a 2028 presidential run. Just because he's spicy online doesn't make him a good leader. Learn to like what someone is doing without needing to rush to put them in charge of a whole fucking country.

The highest priority has to be fascists out of office and Gavin appears to be the one to lead us to that goal.
But do not stop supporting him if you believe he is the best candidate for the position. He's my Governor. I don't agree with him on all issues but I do with 98%. If someone comes forth with 99-100% I will vote for that person. Until then, with his experience, he has my vote. But to rach their own.

Regardless of anything else, if Gavin Newsom is the Democrat nominee, he's getting my vote. If my cat Buster is the Democrat nominee, he's getting my vote. Third party voting is what got us Trump. Sitting at home is what got us Trump. STOP THAT SHIT.

There is no rush. It’s early. But I’m 1,000% behind the Dem nominee in 2028. No matter who it is. The worst Dem (NOT insinuating Newsome) will be far, far better than the best Republican.
He is intelligent and surrounds himself with intelligent people. I started watching governors when Covid started. My biggest disappointment has been Spencer Cox.
His contempt for the poor and homeless is concerning

Hi Rebekah, on the top level, good input. However, I don’t believe that there is contempt. Go to the YouTube Channel of Soft White Underbelly, Mark Laita, and watch his intro video. Most of his work is in LA. The “poor and homeless” are a symptom of many things gone wrong.
This is an excellent point- being a good leader is also about who you choose to advise you, who you listen to, if you take said advice. Lots of the stuff I might not agree with in CA - is the legislative majority and the voters, and not just the Governor doing what he wants.
He's doing more 'Leading' against Trump than Schumer or Jeffries. Those two are absolute pussies.

I’d submit that with CA being the 4th largest economy in the world, the experience you get from running that far outweighs anything anyone else brings to the table at the moment. Being able to generate social media traction is as important as anything in today’s attention market.
That’s me. He’s my governor. He’s far from perfect, but we need him right *now* for our state and nation.

1000% I’m a Los Angeleno and I’m loving his current social media campaign but I would not vote for him in a primary. He’s not what we need. He’s too slick and is the epitome of the “coastal elite” who will get slaughtered in the flyover states. Pushing him forward as our candidate would be a mistake
I also have pretty strong opinions about his cowardice and inaction during the Hollywood strikes while I watched many of my brothers and sisters in this industry struggle to get by. He had too many big donors on both sides to get involved which was cowardly imho and I won’t forget it.
