Looks like the my preserved that facades, which I guess makes somebody happy (as opposed to a nice looking cohesive building)
They engaged a historical consultant who identified elements worth retaining, while describing the existing structures as below the lowest tier of merit. It's nice that they were able to retain a few details.
Yeah, I just wonder if it wouldn’t have been better to pick one of those facade styles and continue it for the entire building, rather than keeping both. I’m not a designer by any means, so I’m sure others have different opinions.
Paradoxically, that is not allowed.
