My kids convinced me to buy an air fryer we found at the thrift store, and it's becoming my entire personality. What are your favourite foods to air fry?

Salmon, pork belly, broccoli, marinated chicken thighs, any kind of sausage, carrots, potatoes…the list is long. You can make some spectacular croutons and toasted breadlike stuff.
Refraining stale chips. Frozen French fries and tater tot’s. Fried Chicken thighs coated in flour, 2 T baking powder, salt, pepper and paprika & cooking spray (paper liner is a good idea for flour.) Crisping/warming restaurant food/frozen fish planks
That's a great tip about the paper liner for flour!
They make some that fit most baskets that handle the heat! You can probably make your own, but I’ve never looked into that.
Oh my wife will try to air fry just about anything. Except maybe spaghetti. So far I think that’s off limits. 🤣
I'm asking for an air fryer for Christmas
Reheat anything in there, especially chips from a Mexican restaurant or fries
Everything! Right now it’s corn on the cob!
Bell peppers and mushrooms. Super easy roasted veg without heating up the whole house
Try reheating pizza in it - a game changer!
Homemade eggrolls!!!!
hash brown patties spray w/ oil, sprinkle w/ salt, 400° for 20m flipping halfway
Everything! Food gets soggy af in the micro- but pop it in the air fryer? Crispy, golden goodness!
Changed our life. We use for everything. Chicken/pork is amazing when we can't grill. Reheating anything is a dream, just have to keep an eye on it.
Crab cakes (Aldi has good frozen ones) and French toast sticks!
2nd French toast sticks
Sliced peppers and onions
Veggies
Pretty much anything potato, except for mashed. Potato wedges, baked potato, hash browns, fries, etc. Also, chicken wings. Though, if they're on the sweeter side, air fry them first and prepare the sauce separately, if possible.
Any kind of potato. Most frozen goodies like mozzarella sticks. Beer battered whitefish fillets. Anything you would normally have to bake/nuke that you want crispy.
I have made chicken wings from scratch and have them come out crispier and better than in the oven by far.
