The proglem is not reading Marx, the problem is how people had to fight and become violent and the like to get to where we are at now. Russian Empire became the USSR because the Romanovs got killed which led to people trying to get rid of the royal family there

This is capitalist propaganda designed to keep you in line You know damn well there is no legal avenue to create the change that is required if humanity is to survive all of the money and power on earth is against it they use violence to maintain the violent system overthrowing it is self defense

How are you going to sit here and act like your opinions on communism should matter or are in any way valid when you learned everything you know about communism from the movie Anastasia?

My family lived in the Soviet Union. They saw everything. They had no hot water often, they had to wake up a 3 am to get milk in a long line and there were often some major shortages. Speaking out means gulag. You have these privileges as you criticize Trump, you want to have this?

I know people in Capitalist USA who can’t take hot showers or run hot water because then they couldn’t afford the electric bill. I know people who can’t afford to buy milk. Capitalism isn’t the utopia you’re portraying it as.

If you want to get more electricity, give people nuclear energy rather than get others to pay it for you. Capitalism allows for one to innovate and is the reason we also have these green and renewable technologies. Its true capitalism isn't a utopia, that doesnt mean communism/socialism is better

Theres also a thing called food stamps, they are eligible to receive it. Under government run programs for it. But under government run grocery stores, food and especially milk becomes very scarce while taking your tax money away. Something to consider. My mother dealt with this in the USSR

The US government is cutting programs like that. And an everyday person struggling to afford the electric bill isn’t in a situation to “invest in nuclear energy”. One of the many reasons I support communism is because at the very least, basic needs should be guaranteed. And the government could…

The US is cutting burdens that will cut our taxes, which means we get more take home money so we can spend more on actual basic necessities than pay half to majority of our stagnant salaries and struggle to actually afford food.

And if one is suffering under the electric bill, there is something to consider. How many things do they have on that are not needed, where and what city do they live and others. These are things to consider.

Someone who is taking cold showers because they’re concerned about their electric bill probably isn’t running a bunch of devices.

And even if they arent having loads of devices on, the best thing to do is ask for government assistance.

…certainly afford that. It’s a better use of government money than giving grants to billionaires.

If you tax billionaires more, they will leave resulting in even less tax money which means less tax revenue which means it will become harder to distribute for government handouts meaning people you know still will be unable to get basic necessities.

I don’t care if they leave. Personally I don’t think anyone should even be able to be a billionaire. Most billionaires and other rich people will stay in NYC though and grudgingly pay their taxes. Another option, tax “investment properties” at a super high rate. People can then either sell or…

Let me ask you something, Sweden is considered a utopia for socialist policies. But how come IKEA and other wealthy companies that used to power Sweden's economy leave to go to the Netherlands or Luxembourg which have significantly lower taxes?

Capitalists are never going to give up their power peacefully. Yes, some violence is necessary to uplift the lives of millions. To me that’s practically self-defense.
