Or the fact that I dont recall Jesus saying "don't be gay" or the fact that Jesus came because nobody was following the old rules and brought a new covenant to be fulfilled by Jesus. Its always been odd that they harp on some made up bullshit.

Also, lots of people in the Bible practiced marriage as a formal agreement of transferring property between families, paid for their wives as property, were polygamous, or had extramarital relations but those are ok I guess?

The whole thing about Christianity is there's the new testament. If we didn't have that we'd all just be practicing Judaism.

I grew up in a Pentecostal family,church, university & ended up marrying a Church of Christ man. In the past 10 years, I have found myself questioning every thing I have believed after seeing family members/friends constantly pay homage to DJT & his Mag-ites for "bringing our nation back to God."

Yeah, I grew up Assembly of God and non-denom. Went to Baylor for academic reasons but didn't have any regard of the religious side of the school. Since then I try to bring up how using religion to oppress is antithetical to Jesus in our Sunday school class. Hopefully the hypocrites realize it.
