Oh my, in Germany we simply say Lego, not Legos, but I think it´s different in other countries. Or we say Lego Steine (Lego stones). We never had them, we had other toys as kids.

Oh, for heaven's sake: Lego is a non-count noun, like furniture. You can't have 6 furnitures, but you can convert that into count-noun terms, and have 6 pieces of furniture, or 6 armchairs, etc. You can't have 6 Legos, but you can have 6 Lego pieces. You're welcome. Also: Epstein.
