There’s a lot going on in the world, but not enough to keep adult humans in my instagram mentions from weighing in for three weeks over what the correct plural of Lego is
There’s a lot going on in the world, but not enough to keep adult humans in my instagram mentions from weighing in for three weeks over what the correct plural of Lego is
Oh my, in Germany we simply say Lego, not Legos, but I think it´s different in other countries. Or we say Lego Steine (Lego stones). We never had them, we had other toys as kids.
Legoses.
Legume
A Murder of Legos
I feel certain that the collective noun is a Footpain of Legos.
🏆
youtu.be/dGZb1kv5zW0?...
It’s Leghi
Legii
LEGO
There's Legi, and there's wrong.
Legoseses
Legolas, of course.
Damn, so clever that 20 people have already beat me to it.
The argument comes to a screeching halt the second you step on one in bare feet.
Lagos
Lagos, a vibrant Nigerian metropolis with a rich cultural heritage and one of Africa's fastestgrowing economies.
@samuel.bsky.team this is about you
if someone says "legos" I fly into a blind rage
clue made out of legos
Guy who only knows how to pluralize in greek: Legopodes
*legopodia
Legoi
Lol in Italian I guess it's Legi?
Today I learned that Lego is the first person singular of the Latin word legare. Meaning “I bequeath”.
So “lego my eggo” literally means the opposite in Latin than in English.
C/o pinned skeet Cc @mikethemadbiol.bsky.social
Lego logos.
legos
not he's british so it's "Legoes" right?
Legæs
the plural of ‘lego’ is ‘legolas’
It is truly on me that I didn’t foresee that mentioning this would cause more adults to then weigh in here
yeah unfortunately this was like putting the lego on the floor and then deliberately stepping on it
you ran into a brick wall there, andy
👏👏
You knew! ... Also it's Lego
Really stepped barefoot on that brick, didn’t ya?
But what about Eggo, or is it Eggos?
Pretty sure this debate was what started Seth Meyers doing Corrections once a week.
You should have been able to put that together, why didn't it click?
I hope you’re enjoying your first day here
This is all bullshit semantic wrangling anyway. The proper form to pluralize Lego is "Yes, please, I would like more."
Now I need to weigh in 😂. Is it a riddle or serious answer only? Legi!
Eggos
Sideshow Bob stepping on rakes
Legi,Legai
Legso
It's Legolas. The guy in Lord Of The Rings (haven't seen it) is made out of a plurality of Lego bricks
Legaiiii
And there's never enough Andy on my feed here 💖
trick question, obv, there’s no plural b/c there’s only one of them
What's the answer?
Lego bricks.
Better not be a fucking apostrophe in any of them.
🏆
And this is why Trump is in the White House.
Legoi Legopodes
It’s Legoose.
Seth Meyers' Jackals know.
It is a free country? Let people express themselves. But, play nice.
Wait, it's not Legolas?
The plural of Lego is Legeese
legii
Is "flock of LEGO" in the top 10?
This used to bother me but it doesn't change how much I buy and build.
Since Lego ultimately derives from the Greek, it must surely be Legopodes
Everyone knows that Lego is the plural. The singular is Legum.
Legi
Legos
it's clearly Legoes
Legi
Spaghetti - spaghetto. Legi - Lego. You’re welcome.
Legolas?
Legopudlians.
Ahhh, aaaahh, aaaahh! Turn the light on! What did I step on?
Obviously it's just like sheep or deer. The collective noun is torture, as in "There were a torture of Lego on the floor."
Weighing in on harmless things like this is way less soul-destroying than contemplating the real news. Next let’s figure out which colour of Lego is most painful to stand on!
Limiting replies to people you follow is truly the only way for folks with a large following/fanbase
I dunno. If we can solve this maybe there's hope for humanity...
Legim
Legæ?
Clearly, the plural of Lego is Epstein files.
I worked on the advertising account for many years. Can confirm plural is “Lego kits” or “Lego bricks,” not Legos. The people who work there are the nicest people ever, though, so they’d never scold you.
Lego my Eggo
Hmm. I wonder who gets to decide that - Lego themselves, or all The Dictionary People.
Obviously. The plural it Letsgos
legends
Oh, for heaven's sake: Lego is a non-count noun, like furniture. You can't have 6 furnitures, but you can convert that into count-noun terms, and have 6 pieces of furniture, or 6 armchairs, etc. You can't have 6 Legos, but you can have 6 Lego pieces. You're welcome. Also: Epstein.
THIS!!! The most thorough explanation I have ever seen of this. It is #LEGO, even in plural form.
I disagree with all of this except Epstein.
Until the Lego company starts paying me, I will keep saying "Legos". It's not my job to defend their copyright.
Legolas?
It's obviously Legolas
Legi
legii
add a g Leggo
Has anyone seen Andy leave his house this week? All the shades are drawn too. Just askin questions. 🤣
Sorry to keep it going, but according to my lawyer they're LEGO® Brand Bricks.
i refuse to take direction from a corporation on what im allowed to call two pieces of plastic
the plural of Lego, isn't Eggos? 😉
It's Legolas
Lego
And yet stepping on one Lego feels as if you have stepped on all Legi.
Legolas It was right there in The Lord of the Rings.
Is it Legi or Legoses?
Legi
