I see the issue. When we said we would replace human workers with machines you assumed the machines would work. That's on you

Hopefully, we can survive the mass layoffs while they figure out AI can’t fully replace workers.
Also when we said AI would be a useful tool we never specified that it would be useful for you
Literally the episode of SpongeBob where Plankton replaces SpongeBob with a robot that doesn’t want to do anything
Robot doing the Lucy Ricardo assembly line bit with the number of b’s in blueberry
OK maybe the robot doesn't work NOW, but the robot salesman assures me that some day it will do the work of the ten employees the robot told me to fire
When i saw that video of that Amazon robot in a warehouse test run work itself to malfunction i knew that the capitalists had played their last card and we would win by default
Each time I see something that should be something easy for AI and it does it terribly I'm less worried. There's a lot of crap in the internet that it's using.
In many cases that would be an equal replacement, frankly.
They do, but they aren't attractive enough, so naturally shunned by a superficial society.
My dad got a knee replacement and his surgeon was a rock ‘em sock ‘em robot. Sad.
It's on strike for equal pay to humans
can’t even… go on strike, take gardening leave, retire any euphemism for touch some grass.
Gonna be real awkward when the machines go on strike.
I asked my boss why we can't use AI to do all our coding. His answer was: "Would you trust a 4yrs old to write your code?" And I was like... that's a good answer sir!
Be thankful your boss has a fully functioning frontal lobe
At least when you lose your job to another person, they’re presumably better at it than you. And a person.
