Somehow some young people don't think it affects them. Sad to say there were some in my family. Used to work with some too, but I would always tell them 'if you don't vote, don't complain'. There were a lot of complainers.

I’ve observed that a lot of people dont develop the bandwidth to think outside the tiniest of tiny bubbles encompassing their personal existence. The big picture eludes even more politically active people. Others take the ability to understand interactions of societal elements for granted.
They can miss shit too. Economists intentionally ignore facets of the economy in order to perpetuate the CAPITALISM GOOD; SOCIALISM BAD message. Endless growth isn’t possible. The economy looks like a jenga tower right now. The last piece has already come out and it’s falling in slow motion.
