Frankly an insane take, nothing he has added has done anything but make the game better. He is a solo creative who still feels inspired to add to his art, how can that possibly be bad. It's entirely up to him, no one is forcing him to do literally anything

Sorry, I think endless content additions make most games worse. Like a lot of games after years of updates, Stardew is kind of bloated and messy now. None of the additions after 1.4 have lived up to the quality of the original game.

Would be nice to have some gameplay customization options, especially on consoles. Stuff you can only do with PC mods, like longer days. UI overhaul would be nice too.
