It’s even easier than that you simple state the Mamdani doesn’t live in a rent controlled apartment, he lives in a rent stabilized department which is working exactly as intended.

Not in 300 characters. Only about 16k units in NYC are rent controlled and have much tighter restrictions on rent increases than stabilized units. Neither has anything to do with the renters income. Basically landlords can’t jack your rent. rentguidelinesboard.cityofnewyork.us/resources/fa...
