They're more hated now BECAUSE just as they aren't insulated from us, so we aren't insulated from them. 20 years ago I only ever heard about what rich people were up to through the press & their PR teams. So their stupid shit got filtered out. On Twitter? We all can see they're nothing special

Can't emphasize how much cooler Elon seemed when he listened to his PR team whose job was 'Make him seem like Tony Stark' All it took was one tweet about pedophiles in Asia to shatter that forever.
