Yes, actually. The thing is it’s less they look for outsiders who’ve already crossed that line and more they direct new members to cross it. It’s often used as a secret keeping mechanism in the sense that everyone in
the circle has shit to take down anyone and everyone else if any member decides to go rogue.
Honestly I think it's as simple as the fact that people who seek power over others oft enjoy exploiting their given/acquired power over others, and tragically sexual assault is one of the forms it can take.
