Because they're all gross eugenicists. They think people with 'good genes' don't get sick or die from disease. And they also think people with 'good genes' aren't poor...they're geniuses & deserve wealth. They'd happily let everyone w/ 'bad genes' perish & totally think they deserved it.

The wealthyautocrats think they will still be able to get quality medical care here in the US. As you say, they don't realize that if we stop the great US research on cancer & other dread diseases, the current level of medical care (even abroad) may well not be enough to save them when they need it.

And their kids aren’t susceptible to the same childhood diseases of the peasants. Or more likely, the rich will still be able to get vaccines but the average person won’t.

How easy would it be for you to cross the border and come back? In a country that is hating on American tourists lately.

Easy to go into Mexico, coming back might be more difficult.

What if Mexico decides “fuck you. The border is closed.”?
