Sometimes the USA changes overnight. After the Great Depression, FDR raised taxes to 90%, implemented Social Security and Welfare. It has taken the billionaires 90 years to tear that down. We can do that again.

We really need to do that again, but cyclical history does seem to be what we're dealing with. Take tariffs for instance, everyone who remembers the last time has to literally be dead for anyone to think they're a good idea to implement again.

I check on here but never turn on msnbc or even look at the bbc news anymore. it's too stressful. I try to check here a maximum of once a day.
