well in Texas they are charging clean energy more for the cost of transportation of the energy. It isn't cheap to have solar panels here unless you have the battery system and can go completely off grid.
When the Texas (independent) power grid failed, the MAGA government blamed solar and wind. Reality is that those sources out-performed expected generation over that time period. It was the natural gas plants that failed to perform. If anything, it would have been WORSE without renewable generators.
If it was bc of clean energy why weren't the energy bills high last year n the years before that 🤔

All over this country, AI data centers are looking for new homes. These data centers consume massive amounts of power. Missouri is looking at building new nuclear power plants that will be funded by energy customers paying more to fund the building of more nuclear power plants 👍
Texas went all in on renewables. They lapped up federal funds donated by Blue states to build renewable energy into their stand alone energy grid and lowered their energy customer bills.
Data centers are the cause for rate spikes and Tr u m p compliance! End of story.

In Georgia, our prices went up to build a nuclear plant. But they just notified us that prices will be fixed for the next two years and possibly some people will see savings.
Does his cult believe him? Is Fox telling them their costs went down because if so they won’t be swayed. My husband and I are moving and we needed something with heat included because costs are too unpredictable right now.

I worked in Corp Fin for 3 utilities for 10 years, spent another 26 analyzing and investing in them. The lack of knowledge as to how electric generation works by this admin (and general public) is staggering. It is very complex. It's an agenda thing for the trump/his admin, not economic reality
It's the energy monopolies afforded the fossil fuel & coal industries & quashing the market of cheaper, cleaner energies that gives people pushing antiquated technologies the freedom to hike their prices. The GOP & P.2025 are doing everything possible to make filthy expensive energy our only choice

Nearly every coal fired plant is beyond its original design age lifespan…as are all of our nuclear plants…it’s like driving a 57 Chevy and thinking it’s as dependable and as safe as a 2025 vehicle
And Trump’s sucking up to the fossil fuel industry and their huge payoff to him will seriously damage America. Look how China is producing EV’s that the chairman of Ford reckons will kill his company and China’s renewable energy plans will give them another huge advantage.
Remember, Trump told the gas and oil companies that for $1 billion in contributions he would let them have whatever they want.
My understanding is the bills are climbing due to new rules allowing monopolies rate changes to cover construction costs (to add infrastructure for the DATA CENTERS). Once prohibited the commissions are taken over by the oligarchs. The controls on costs are gone. 26 is coming vote them all out
