can blue state governors send their national guard to red states like some red states are sending national guards to DC? this would be great to see to flip the trump gaslighting

Maryland can possibly deploy National Guard to the borders of DC to protect Maryland residents from operations that may spill over into MD. This isn't different from DC deploying DC NG on Jan 6 to protect the citizens of DC from Trump attackers.

I've thought about this. Musical chairs with National Guard. I'm sure the Guard would love it.
