Well, heat tape works pretty well. Just wrap it around the most critical exposed pipes. One thing to watch for: if a pipe does freeze, the ice expands and can easily burst the pipe. After things warm up, the ice thaws and the pipe will obviously leak. Good luck and stay warm :)
