I worked with both the System 360 series and the PDP-11 during that time frame. Just retired last September, stayed with it and my last position was Virtualization with hundreds of rack servers and petabytes of SSD storage. Glad that's behind me 👌

Good luck, enjoy retirement. Still got a couple years to go. Mostly doing DBA work now but still write some COBOL, Rexx and Assembler as needed to make my life easier. Still prefer assembler over the others but use what seems best to fill the gap.
