Well said, David. This has got to be the absolute worst piece of legislation ever to get voted on. See my earlier repost today of the actual costs and savings. It's appalling, but maybe it'll finally wake up MAGATs on the dole and on Medicaid that they've been bamboozled.

They'll wake up to find their votes moot, too, if this passes.

It would certainly be slightly easier to bear if this bill actually balanced the budget and started paying down the debt. You could at least pretend it's for a good reason. But this is straight up taking the food and health from the poor so the wealthy can get wealthier. The definition of evil.

Green energy is cheaper. Consumer lose in 3 ways by abandoning this options: 1) fossil fuels are mothballed; 2) wind and solar will require mothballing; 3) per unit electricity by fossil fuels is now more expensive.
