Of course, it isn't the principle. Musk has none. That being said, I agree with him. MAGA is on track to make America trail the world in technical innovation. They'll have the US covered in smog to power cheap data processing that'll eventually be obsolete as the world moves on without us.

Ironically had he done nothing, Elon would not have nearly the negative perception he does now. Well...not 'as' negative anyways. Tesla would still be well-liked, EV credits would almost still be a thing, and he could still get gov contracts aplenty if Kamala was POTUS. But his ego demanded more.
