Every soldier suicide is followed by calls to suicide awareness and prevention. I could go on. The only people who think this is the wrong place or time to talk about the animals is someone with a guilty conscience.

Literally 90+% of Bluesky is just an echo chamber at this point. I'm not interested in circle jerking each other over every damn issue, we need to discuss the trillions of animals being tortured and killed and there is never a wrong time to do so.

If you were in those cages you'd want someone to defend you immediately. Telling Vegans to take a back seat is so insanely disrespectful to the victims of animal agriculture. And literally I'm always told "this is not the right time" while humans pontificate over their futile politics
