This has been in the works for a very long time, since the 1980s at least. But he's got a majority in Congress and he's got the Supreme Court in his pocket, he's fired anyone in the fed govt who would not enact his policiex. The levers of power that would stop him have been neutralized.
We need to be vigilant. Never say never but do "Stand on Guard". We remain exceptional, vulnerable to disinformation & polarization. Our media is foreign owned for the most part & people have growing anxiety re: increased affordability issues. Stay united, stay focused, & support our leadership.

There were checks and balances in the U.S. system as well, but they found a way to neutralize them. It’s this kind of thinking that gives us false hope to not act when danger appears. I think there are people in the US waiting for someone to stop this mess and complacency is the real enemy there.

We speak out at town halls. She has a radio show she does once a week. We sign petition to stay in Canada. She has backed down on quite a few bad decisions. There are investigations underway now on a healthcare scandal she is part of. We have a strong opposition party in govt. They call her out.
I used to think it wouldn’t be allowed here either. I was wrong.
