I was actually in New Orleans a few weeks ago. Brutal there too. It was only mid to high 80's, but the humidity was unbearable!

I lived in NO for two years and am only a couple hours away today. Thankfully, they do have the lake, we are landlocked by trees. Tons of running water around but the trees block any breeze from them, and then, there is the Bayou 3 miles away too. We have had triple digit heat index since June.
I'm going to Phoenix next month to visit my nephew. Phoenix in August? I must be nuts! 🤪🤣
😭😭😭😭😭😭 At least Phoenix is dry so it is nice at nights there.
Can I DM you? I understand if not. 🤗
Sure.
Valid point. I'll be ok anyway. I'd much rather be hot than cold.
I am the same way. Winters here are unpredictable, we go through all 4 seasons in one day but the one thing that remains constant is the cold humidity that makes you feel as if you are wrapped in a wet wool blanket. Uggggg. It is so cold!
