We need to call our Reps in the House and Senate and let them know that we paid for SS our entire working lives and we demand that they start being responsible to ensure that when we retire we have the money & services we need. Not a huge cut that will throw many of us into poverty!

Tell me about it. Just had to go into the local office to prove that I am me. Apparently, the online system verifications weren't good enough, even after jumping through all the required hoops. Meanwhile, the State Department had no problem issuing my passport in record time via online renewal.

The website still is unable to process changes to your voluntary tax withholding. I finally called and there was a thirty minute wait. Yes, we are still being taxed on our social security if our income is above a because we work or have other income. Another lie by the pedo.
