Hubris and complacency I guess? He thinks there's no way he leaves over Mickey and no way he stays over Ashley. My best guess for why he's so bad at this in this week in particular.

it’s really irritating. if he’s not going to try he could very well lose his chance to stay over mickey too but oh well 🤷🏻♀️
