Biden spent over 6 trillion in 4 yrs My point is quoting how much debt Trump incurred is meaningless out of context. It doesn’t consider inflation or Trump having to deal with the pandemic. I say glass houses because, as Obama showed, Democrats are just as likely to incur huge debts as Republicans.

The Pandemic didn't hit until the end of Trump's first term. Most of Biden's dept was dealing with the pandemic and its fallout. Regardless of all of that there is also what the spending was being used for, which in Trump's case was *clearly* not the good of the people.

While Obama had 8 yrs most of his spending occurred between 2009-2010 when Democrats also controlled congress. So length of time in office is irrelevant. As for any reason the money was spent being for good or bad is all a matter of perspective. Trump loves golf, Biden loved his beach house.
