Showing my age, but I also blame Roberts for 9/11, the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq, climate change and the 2008 housing crash. Roberts was part of the team that installed George W. Bush in the White House when it looked like Al Gore was winning Florida. Bush then made Roberts Chief Justice.

Al Gore said that the Clinton Admin shook the trees when they saw something suspicious. Bush didn't shake the trees when FBI agents pointed out suspicious activity in Minnesota and Arizona. He could have prevented 9/11 if those trees had been shaken. He failed to complete the job in Afghanistan,
starting the unnecessary war in Iraq instead.
