Let's be honest. Chuck & Hakeem (Biden 2.0) lack the fundamental characteristics to save our Democracy. Self & donors interests supersede everything. Hakeem just gave a speech & didn't bother to mention Trump. Schumer always rolls over. Trump/GOP knows this. Unless we replace them, We're fucked.
Unless you live in NY, what Jeffries or Schumer does really makes little difference. The people we need to hold accountable are the Senators and representatives from our own states. They will be the people who vote on whether Schumer or Jeffries stays in power bc we elect them.
As leaders of the Congress & Senate their choices effect the entire country.
The Senate Minority Leader is elected by Democrats in Congress. Voters need to vote for Democrats who want a different type of leadership. Also, you have to be a registered Democrat in some states so if folks keep saying I'm "independent," then they can't help change the party🤷♀️
