Updated and CORRECTED (no edit though, it will kill the thread from my PoV): The Second iteration of the KKK was founded in 1915. The Indiana branch of the Second iteration of the Klu Klux Klan was founded in Indiana ~ 1920. The First iteration of the KKK was founded in Pulaski, TN ~ 1865.
The KKK was not founded in Indiana. That is some bullshit. It was founded in the south during/after the Civil War. It spread to Indiana and other places but it was not founded there. And yeah, they have little to fear from the general public when they go to a largely abandoned downtown on a weekend.
I apologize if I offended or seemed facile. I edited the post. The Second iteration of the KKK was founded in 1915. Indiana KKK founded ~ 1920 [...] "And yeah, they have little to fear from the general public when they go to a largely abandoned downtown on a weekend." ~ As I said, remnants
I thought the opposite. Better have some police protection for their own safety. I’m encouraged that there are so few in their group. For Indiana, that’s surprising. Pales in comparison to the crowd down there on June 14. They don’t even look like they’re having fun. What’s their point anyway?
What’s their point anyway? They're behaving as remnants do; stridency, hoping to increase their quorum size. There was something previous in June in IND? 😡 I do know there was another march in Columbus, Ohio, maybe 7-8 months ago. source: www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
I was referring to the size of the crowd on June 14th for the No Kings gathering. Your explanation makes sense.
"Pales in comparison to the crowd down there on June 14. " I apologize, you did not cite No King's Day so I mistakenly assumed you meant a recent march of Nazi's (sic).
