The heritage foundation has been around since the 70s, when the conservative plan to seize control of the courts began in earnest. This isn't new news.
I post every piece of News on The Heritage Foundation or the Federalist Society I find.
No. But shit, I don't know anyone who knows even what little I do! Democracy Dies in Darkness!
Democrats were asleep at the wheel 😕
Yep
Its probably a little more nuanced than that. There was still some presumption of good faith across the aisle, even into the early-mid 90s. The work of the heritage foundation and the federalist society were less out in the open, afaik
We forgave their crime filled administrations and Presidents to "heal the nation" far too many times. 2 presidents investigated for conspiring with a foreign adversary, 89 convictions for crimes committed in office (not including 200+ indictments) 10 convictions for seditious conspiracy.
Democrats are far from asleep at the wheel; they’re complicit
If I remember correctly...they basically just changed the name from the John Birch society, hired a buttload more attorneys to replace the total nut jobs. Viola ! The Heritage foundation. But as my profile states 'I am not an expert in/on/at anything' Just an old miner who has watched this shit
A very smart old miner!
Learned most of my politics from the old timers, coal and hard rock miners that moved to Wyoming to work the Trona mines (Cadillac of underground mining). Some couldn't even read/write. The best advice..? If Rs are so great with the economy, why do they crash it almost every time they get 2 terms ?
Tony, you are inspiring! My Dad only made it to 8th Grade. He was a Glazier. Retired from his main job as a Firefighter. Poured all his pension into what became a multimillion dollar glass business.
We used to fight over whose side he would play trivia on. He read, he didn't listen to his other blue-collar friends, he was his own man.
He did one job for 45, and 45 "stiffed," him. Dad never worked for 45 again. Dad died young, 61, and I'm so glad he isn't seeing this shit. It would break his heart!
