Death to the status quo, we are soft from complacency, the era of enshittification is here so we must seek alternatives and envision a better future for the digital landscape. Also, decentralized feels like the way to go so anything building on that is good

I'd argue you do, competition, you don't want everyone centralized to one singular app, personally I think we need to get out of that headspace (one app to rule them all)

So, in theory, you'll get multiple people creating things for the protocol, Bluesky being one piece, flashes another, and more in the future, and ppl pick what they like and they all compete, and better features are made
Flashes is run by Bluesky? It isn't run by them, it just uses the same protocol as Bluesky, that's the point of a public protocol, so other people can build on top of it, and all those parts can talk to one another
