I'm Canadian so I will admit upfront that I don't understand the political world in the States, but what I really can't wrap my head around is why everyone bows and scrapes to a madman. Does he really have the wherewithal to take everyone on? Does he have "dirt" on everyone? Or is it just the codes?
I think it's mostly that the Republicans/conservatives/revanchists believe that Trump will enable them to maintain exclusive power & control forever - even after Trump himself is gone.
It's not that hard to figure out they're blackmailed. I'm sure Trump got dirt....not on the opposition...but on nearly everyone he in Congress. The ones he couldn't...he just threatens with ruin. And how HARD Project 2025 must have worked to facilitate that!!
