I think we should investigate the bases of all potential creatures' well-being and how we could avoid doing them harm. I don't think it would be good to focus on human well-being to the exclusion of animal well-being, even if it's often very hard to determine what animal well-being consists in.

Yeah I'm gonna say we should start with improving maternal health outcomes and expanding the social safety net to improve the lives of the most marginalized amongst us.
