I disagree with Quentin Tarantino on what his best film is. “So I think Kill Bill is the movie I was born to make, I think Inglourious Basterds is my masterpiece but Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood is my favourite.” [theguardian.com]

Jackie Brown hands down.
I have a fondness for debuts, they never hit like that again, so I’m gonna have to go with Reservoir Dogs.
The Heightful Eight
My 2 cents - Pulp Fiction is his masterpiece and it's not even close. That movie exploded in every direction.
*holds up metrocard mic* 100% agree
PULP FICTION for me (saw it 6 times!) I get why people love it - and lots of people do - but I found Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood bloated and unending. If I had not been on a date with my wife, I would have left somewhere in the soggy middle. My 2019 review: stubhubby.blogspot.com/2019/08/once...
In terms of multiple viewings, Pulp is my number one. Kill Bills, #2 and Death Proof, #3. The latter two bc I’m a sucker for female revenge. I hope the mention of DP gets me in trouble. Ha. I’ve rewatched all his work at least once except Reservoir Dogs.
Oh, I know he didn’t direct it but True Romance gets an honorable mention.
Jackie Brown for me
Same. Being held to Leonard's source material kept Tarantino's worse excesses in check. Even though the runtime is pretty long, it feels fast, and it feels efficient, much like the novel it's based on.
Django Unchained.
Has to be IB for me.
Might have to watch Jackie Brown again. Compassion for his characters wasn’t ever as apparent
