Meanwhile, the Tories won a barnstorming majority after forcing a change of leader in 2019. Changing leader is necessary when the current one is too stubborn to change direction. It wasn't changing leaders that ever did the Tories in: it was them fucking up the country with grift and culture wars.

Now, Labour have come in, and are focused on grift and culture wars. Just endless cruelty, stupidity, and an obsession with having a say on every thing but the stuff their voters elected them to do. The agenda can't change effectively until Starmer leaves.
