Your mom and mine sound alike. It’s so true. Funny I always hung around with mostly guys and damn if I don’t like surgeons… even the mean ones better than my fellow nurses. At least they say shit to my face. Didn’t run and tattle 🙄

I’m now the mean surgeon whisperer. I started as a young nurse with them and am still at it😂. You know what a lot of them are my favorites now.

Growing up was different for me because my brothers and I were the only white kids in our neighborhood. All was great till he took a job in a small town with a private college in western NYS. Yep I learned quick. There I was pretty much the only girl so I hung with the boys
