The science shows that trans women and trans men belong in their respective gender categories alongside their cisgender peers. HRT is a great equalizer.

You are welcome! If I may, the underlying point is that exclusion from sports seems sensible based on our understanding of what cisgender men and women athletes look like. What shakes things up is that they largely look like that due to their hormones and trans people tend to change those to match.

thank you again. your responses really opened my eyes. I didn't understand before, but now I do. I've always been a strong supporter of trans people, but never knew what to say when people would ask me about the sports thing. Now I do and I'll be quoting you! I hope you have a lovely evening.
