So how can people protest what these Guardsmen are doing? We can’t complain to the idiots who sent them into our city Are they trained that sometimes it’s not the individual being yelled at, it is what the uniform represents to people?
Mass peaceful protests convey: (1) we hate what is being done enough to make signs, use our precious time to protest and (2) this is not an emotion lashing out. OTOH, there may be times to legally protest individual Guardsmen's actions - if they are defending masked men making unwarranted arrests.
