For a city with Vegas' reputation, food options between ~10pm and 9am are shockingly slim. Also, *hotel* convenience store. That does make a difference. They are heavily incentivized to keep the food safe since it's *their* room you'll be puking all over if you get food poisoning.

Had a long convo w/ a friend about ATM/Debit vs credit cards, skimmers. and why a credit card beats a pipline to their checking account. The technolog has /so/ passed up the ability of an 'average' person to grasp it and its implications. Had my own credit card skimmed at a Costco a while back.
